Tillage Day

Indiana IHC Chapter 7 Tillage Days
Indiana IHC Chapter 7 is having a fall tillage day ~ We need your help to beat the 532 bottoms in the furrow at one time that we set in 2008

 Where:    Gatewood and Thieme Farms
                 Noblesville, IN
                 Exit 14 off of I-69, North of Indianapolis

When:      Saturday, October 13, 2012
                 Rain Date: October 20, 2012

• Start plowing at 9 a.m. Saturday (Drivers Meeting at 8:45 a.m.)
• Stop tillage at 12 noon for lunch and state meeting (restart plowing after the meeting)
• Plow until field is done or Midnight (whichever comes first)
• Over 500 acres for plowing. Field is 1 mile long (plowing one-way only)
• Plowing for big and small from IH 4x4's to Cub Cadets (IH & Cub Cadet tractors only)
• Setting of plows from 1 p.m. to 5 p.m. on Friday
• Static displays of IH-built tractors and implements welcome
• Bonfire with carry-in chili supper Saturday evening
• Loading docks on site with loading and unloading available
• Primitive camping available
• Food and Parts vendors on site
• Golf cart rental available
• Motels close by
• Large new shopping center less than 2 miles from the site (Hamilton Center)
There will be a 5 MPH speed limit on all vehicles.
No riders unless there is a seat. No fender riders.
Must be a National IHC Member to operate tractors or equipment.
